Movie: Salud, follows the work of Cuban doctors who volunteer in a number of Latin American and African countries. The film is a tribute to Cuba’s longstanding policy of sending doctors to buttress healthcare in poorer countries, more than any other country in the world. Movie to be followed by: Panel discussion on the Healthcare debate in the US Congress and the relevance of the Cuban Universal Healthcare system to the struggle for universal healthcare in the United States.
