First Secretary Miguel Fraga's five-day visit to Minnesota was packed with activity that included:- a meeting with the Minnesota Twins organization and Tony Oliva
- an interview with Joey Peters, MinnPost, "The Door is Open on our Side"
- the annual conference of the National Network on Cuba at Augsburg University (videos on Facebook and YouTube)
- an evening of music and dance in solidarity with Cuba
- a panel at Dorsey & Whitney (video, PowerPoint) with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Global Minnesota, the Minnesota Trade Office, Department of Employment and Economic Development, Nachito Herrera and the Minnesota Farmers Union
- a visit to a southern Minnesota farm, meeting with the president of the Minnesota Farm Bureau
- a meeting with Minnesota Department of Agriculture Commissioner David Frederickson
- a meeting with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development
- a meeting with state senators Sandra Pappas, Julie Rosen, Patricia Torres Ray, Chris Eaton and Melisa Franzen
- a meeting with St. Paul Councilmember Jane Prince, prospective sponsor of an anti-embargo resolution
- a visit to the bust of José Martí in St. Paul City Hall
- a meeting with University of Minnesota officials, sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change
